Dear Dr Jensen;
I just received my Pain Board results today and was very pleased that I passed. I wanted to thank you and Dr Cataldo for the excellent pain board prep course. The course keyed in the specific areas for the examination.  The question and answer format by Dr Cataldo was specifically oriented to the exam. The course syllabus was full of vital information for the exam.
I have attended other pain review couses and found yours to be by far the most complete with direct application to the exam. I am pleased to say that I passed the exam on the first attempt thanks to your course.
As you know, I was so impressed with your course this last July, I went back in September for a second time just before the exam. I am very pleased that I scored this victory with your Army. Please extend my gratitude to Dr. Cataldo, he is exceptional as an instructor. I am very proud to say I am Board certified pain specialist again thanks to your guidance.
Thank You

Dear Dr Jensen:
It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I am informing you that I have passed the Pain medicine Boards of Sept 11. The Big Yeller is a very good resource which I used along with Pritvi Raj's Pain medicine book to prepare for the test.  The advantage of Big Yeller is its focus; it cuts out a lot of information which is not important.
So I really appreciated the concise format and presentation of Big Yeller. I wonder if you are coming out with any prep book for the ABA Critical care medicine exam. I have to take the CCM test around Sept next year. Please let me know if you are aware of any other concise resource; Even though any day I would prefer a prep book brought out by you.
How is the pass percentage for Anesthesiology and Pain this year?
With warm regards,
D.

Niels,
It took them long enough but the results of the Sept Pain exam have been mailed out.    I am happy to report I passed.   I felt quite confident after I walked out of the exam room.    The questions during the course were truly representative of the exam, if not more difficult.  I found the discussion of the questions/answers we covered just as helpful as doing the questions.

A keyword phrase list was included and judging by how many I got wrong compared to the total number of questions, I apparently answered about 80% correctly.    I am very satisfied with my results.   I will definitely recommend your course.
Taking the exam on the computer was actually a very pleasant experience.
Thank you again.   The time, effort and money I spent on your Oral and Pain courses were well worth it.   I guess I am all set for about 10 yrs ... hope you still have this service available when I need to re-certify.
Thanks again Coach,
FS,  MD

Dear Dr. Jensen,
I am glad to report that I passed the Pain Boards.
Thanks to you and to Dr. Cataldo.
Regards,
CL

Dear Niels,
I wanted to let you know that I passed the subspecialty
certification in pain management examination.  I feel that your prep course and Big Yeller were very helpful in my preparation and review.  I got my results yesterday and was very pleased.
Niels, thank you for all your help through the anesthesia and the pain boards.  I can now focus on other things in my life and career besides studying to pass the boards. Should you ever need an Oral board mock examiner or wish someone to help you write a chapter in an upcoming pain or anesthesia book, please let me know.
Take care and best wishes!!
Sincerely,
N.

HI Dr Jensen: I just found out that I passed my Pain Boards.  You and Dr Cataldo were great.  Thanks so much.  You did not let me down on the Anesthesia Boards, and now you did it again—helped me pass another big test.
Big Yeller helped me focus on the content they are testing.
Thanks to you guys, I am free of this for ten years.  However, some of it was fun and I enjoyed the review.  Thanks for the focus and for helping me be successful on this test.
G., M.D.
